Industrial Combustion Associates is proud to provide reliable hydronic heating to the North Jersey Water District office building in Wanaque, NJ with QTY 2x Patterson-Kelley SONIC SC4000 high efficiency stainless steel condensing boilers.
Patterson-Kelley SONIC® boilers feature the one-of-a-kind DUET™ heat exchanger which is a combination of an upper “boiler” bolted to a lower “economizer” for maximum operating efficiency. The 304L stainless steel tubes in the upper boiler absorb all the radiant thermal energy from combustion, dropping the initial combustion temperature of 2200°F down to approximately 1000°F. This flue gases then enters the lower economizer section where the 316L stainless steel ovular tubes are brazed to heat transfer ribbon, dropping the exiting flue gas temperature down to as low as 100°F. The P-K SONIC boilers are capable of 97% efficiency at high fire and 100% efficiency at low fire – amazing!
